public class RMIObjectFactory

The RMIObjectFactory provides a method to obtain an initial remote object from a Java Card applet offering RMI functionality. The communication with the applet is performed through the IBM BlueZ Offcard API. The remote object is constructed from the applet FCI using the list of implemented interfaces. This method does not make use of stubs; only the interface classes are required.

getInitialReference

public static java.lang.Object getInitialReference(JCApplet applet)

Returns the initial remote object for the given Java Card applet. The Java Card applet is selected on the current logical channel and the initial remote object constructed from the returned applet FCI.

Returns:

The newly constructed remote reference object. This object can be cast to any of the implemented remote interfaces.

Throws:

JCRMIErrorException - if the FCI includes a JC RMI error response.

JCException - if parameters are invalid, the FCI does not include a valid object descriptor or the FCI includes a null object reference.
