Command: METHOD

USAGE method [-m|--method-id variable-name] OID method-name method-signature
DESCRIPTION Defines a remote method for a particular remote object. Optionally, the method ID can be stored in a JCShell variable for later referencing.

Defines a JCShell variable that receives the method ID of the newly defined remote method.

method-name The name of this remote method. Yes
method-signature The signature of this remote method in the form:

[<return type>] ([<parameter type>, <parameter type>, ...])

The return type must be either one of the basic types (byte; byte[]; short; short[]; boolean; boolean[]) or a fully qualified class name (e.g. java.rmi.Remote) indicating an object reference. Parameters can be of basic type (as listed above) only. The type void can be omitted.
