Class JCTermSpec

java.lang.Object
  extended byStringData
      extended bycom.ibm.jc.tools.JCTermSpec

public class JCTermSpec
extends StringData

This GetOpt element parses terminal specifications. The syntax is:

        terminal-type [arguments...]

It expects a keyword naming a terminal type followed by individual arguments depending on the terminal type.

The supported terminal types are all those supported in the package com.ibm.jc.terminal and one generic terminal which allows you to tie in custom terminal implementing abstract class JCTerminal.

getTerminal

public JCTerminal getTerminal()
Returns:
a new instance of the specified terminal. Every invocation returns a new terminal object. The terminal is initialized according to the arguments but it is not yet opened. If no terminal has been specified (arguments are optional and have been omitted from argument vector) then try to open default terminal. If none is defined then an JCException is thrown.
