Notes for Users behind Firewalls

If you are experiencing trouble accessing the JCOP Tools Update Site, you may have a personal and/or company firewall that prohibit Java applications such as Eclipse from accessing the Internet. You must change those settings in order to access the Update Site from within Eclipse.

Local Update Site Image

Alternatively, you may download the current Update Site image for local use.

Instructions

Download the current Update Site image from this location. Unzip the downloaded file to a location of your choice. In the Eclipse Update Manager, instead of using a Site Bookmark, browse "My Computer" to the location you extracted above ZIP file. Then proceed as you would with the online version. You can also burn the (unzipped) contents of the ZIP file onto a CD and use that.
