Java Card 2.2 Support

JCOP Tools 3.0 (Eclipse plugin) version 1.0.3 contains support for Java Card 2.2.1. This includes:

• APIs and export files for Java Card 2.2.1 and Global Platform 2.1.1.
• A debuggable simulation capable of Java Card 2.2.1 and Global Platform 2.1.1.

APIs and Export Files

When you create a new project, you can now choose to develop against the IBM JCOP v2.2 Family. Alternatively, you can select from three new libraries: Java Card 2.2.1, Global Platform 2.1.1, and JetZ API for JCOP v2.2.

Simulation

In the Launch Configuration for Java Card Applications, you can now choose the IBM JCOP v2.2 Simulation. This fully debuggable simulation contains the three APIs mentioned in the previous section.

Please note:
The converter will only create a 2.2 CAP file, if your project is built agains Java Card 2.2 export files. 2.1 CAP files can be loaded into the JCOP v2.2 simulation, but cannot be debugged because the do not contain the new Debug Component.
