JCOP Views

The JCOP Tools provide different views to aid in the development of JavaCard applications:

JCOP Explorer

JCOP Explorer

The JCOP Explorer displays a model of currently open JavaCard applications. It gives a quick overview of packages, applets, and their assigned AIDs and install parameters. To change any settings, simply double-click on a value to bring up the appropriate properties dialog.

CAP File Properties

CAP File Properties

After a CAP file is built, the calculated component sizes and dependencies are displayed in the CAP File Properties view.

JCOP Shell

JCOP Shell

The JCOP Shell is a command-driven, shell-like APDU execution environment. For more detailed information on the JCOP Shell, read the JCOP Shell chapter in this manual.

Memory Information

Memory Information

When debugging a JavaCard applet on a JCOP simulation, the Memory Information view shows memory, commit buffer, and stack usage statistics whenever the VM is suspended.

JCOP Profiler

JCOP Profiler

When debugging a JavaCard applet on a JCOP simulation with Profiling enabled, the JCOP Profiler shows execution frequency of code blocks whenever the VM is suspended. Also, executed lines will be highlighted in the Java source editor.
